* operates five domestic refineries with 900,000 barrels per day of crude oil processing capacity;
* markets gasoline under the Sunoco® brand through over 4,700 retail outlets primarily in 24 states from Maine to Florida, including the District of Columbia, and west to Indiana; and
* has over 5,400 miles of crude oil and refined product owned and operated pipelines; and 38 product terminals

Sunoco is a significant manufacturer of petrochemicals, largely chemical intermediates used to make fibers, plastics, film, and resins. Utilizing a unique, patented technology, Sunoco also manufactures two and a half million tons annually of high-quality metallurgical-grade coke for use in the steel industry.
